{HMW} Your Experiences Needed: Contribute to a Book on Stress Eating

Dear Reader,

Help wanted!

I'm almost too scared to say this out loud but, based on the 108-page outline I just completed, it looks like I'm on my way to finally writing my 2nd book! 😱

What I'm Asking: I'm collecting personal stories, insights, and reflections about stress & emotional eating to include in my upcoming book. Your experiences, whether challenges or successes, can provide invaluable perspective to readers.

Why It Matters: By sharing your story, you'll help others feel less alone in their struggles and potentially provide the inspiration someone needs to make positive changes. Your contribution can transform this book from a theoretical guide into a relatable, powerful tool for change.

How to Participate: I've created a brief survey that should take about 10-15 minutes to complete. Your responses can be as detailed as you're comfortable sharing.

As a Token of Appreciation: To thank you for your time and willingness to share, all participants will receive complimentary access to one of my digital products, The Consistency Cure, that I normally sell for $127. (access to be provided upon completion of the survey).

You will also be entered to win a $50 amazon gift card!

Your privacy is paramount. All responses will be anonymized unless you explicitly agree to be identified.

Ready to contribute? Please click here to access the survey

In sharing our experiences, we not only help others but often gain new insights ourselves. Your story matters, and it could be the key to someone else's breakthrough.

Thank you for considering this opportunity to make a difference. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to reach out!

5-Senses Sunday

Reclaiming my love for apples (finally!), discovering luxury armpit scents, how sound influences fungi (seriously!), my love/hate with textures, and some “house porn” dreams. Indulging the senses keeps us grounded & mindful!

My friend and biz bestie, Sarah Steckler, reminded me recently of an interview we did together a few years ago for her show, The Mindful Productivity Podcast.

In this episode, we chat about what it means to eat mindfully, the importance of listening to your bodies wisdom, and I lead Sarah through a mindful eating exercise that you can follow along with.

This episode is jam-packed with ways to empower your eating including:

How decision anxiety impacts our eating

How distractions hinder our ability to listen to our body

Ingredient Spotlight:

Wild Rice

Wild rice is a nutrient-dense, earthy grain with a chewy texture and nutty flavor, often celebrated for its impressive nutrient profile.

Packed with protein, fiber, and antioxidants, wild rice supports heart health and helps regulate blood sugar levels, making it a great choice for anyone looking to boost their overall wellness.

To prepare, rinse thoroughly, then simmer in water or broth for about 45 minutes until tender. It’s delicious as a base for grain bowls, mixed into soups, or tossed with roasted vegetables and herbs for a flavorful side dish.

Dear Reader For too long, portion control has been about rigid rules—measuring food with your hand, avoiding the "clean plate club," or eating no more than a deck of cards of protein. These mantras come straight from diet culture, stripping us of our own agency and disconnecting us from the signals that actually matter: our body’s hunger and fullness cues. It’s time to ditch those outdated rules and create your personal portion control blueprint. Start by tuning into your hunger—don’t...

Dear Reader Halloween candy has a way of triggering the automatic “plow-in” mode, where before you know it, half the bag is gone, and you barely tasted it. But this year, I invite you to bring a little mindfulness into your candy experience. You don’t need to restrict, pre-plan, or feel guilty about it. Instead, slow down and savor each bite. One way to hit pause on that automatic trigger is by adding a little friction to the process. Try sorting your candy by color before diving in. This...

Dear Reader, Introducing.... I know, I know. It’s still just the middle of October. But you know what’s just a few weeks away? The beginning of peak holiday season. Halloween kicks off a very busy few months for all of us, so it never hurts to get ahead and work on organizing and planning as much of those upcoming festivities as possible. Imagine yourself…this could be the year you actually enjoy the holidays instead of feeling like the busiest elf in Santa’s workshop. To that end, I have...
