β Dear Reader April is Stress Awareness month. In honor of creating tools for stress resiliency as a means to end stress-eating here are a few of my go-to stress relief tools that I'm using right now: For Journaling: Day One Appβ For Sound Healing: This You tube mixβ For Nervous System Management: My weighted blanketβ For Meditation: The Daily Calm with Tamera Levitt from Calm.comβ As a BONUS... here is your Stress Relief Oasis PDF with many more stress-abating options including which foods and herbs are best for stress-relief. Enjoy! β Have it: β Interesting Article alert: How Floatation Therapy may help Anxiety & Eating Disorders (*gift article) β Made it: From the Archives: When you feel guilty for not treating your body betterβ β Want it: My friend has been complaining about having hot flashes lately and I know my time is coming soon. That's why I'm thinking of arming myself with this.β β Ingredient Spotlight: Crusty Sourdough Bread Sourdough bread-making is an art form and craft in and of itself. I tried on several occasions to make my own starter during the pandemic but its harder to maintain than I thought! Whether you make your own or buy it in a store, sourdough bread can be a healthy addition to your diet. It tends to have less gluten content and fewer FODMAPS than most breads and is easier to digest due to the fact that it is filled with beneficial bacteria which supports gut-health and gives it the signature bubbles you see above. β Sourdough bread uses: Thicken soups with it Add it to a panzanella salad Make bread crumbs Make an elevated avo toast Make a Romesco sauceβ β β37 things to do with Sourdough Breadβ β β β Extra Bytes: What I'm reading: The Paris Apartment by Lucy Foley (mystery thriller set amidst the underbelly of Paris) What I'm watching: All of Us Strangers (on Hulu, this movie affected me deeply - it was beautiful, haunting and the acting was nuanced and magnificent) What I'm listening to: The Daily Beans Podcast with Allison Gill What I'm Eating: Crispy Tofu Burritos with garlic parsley roasted potatoes and tomato chutneyβ β That's all for me this week. I hope you all have a happy and healthy hump day! Warmly, Jenny |

Dear Reader My husband and I are leaving for Sweden on Sunday! We're doing a red eye flight and then jumping right in with a water tour of the archipelagos of Stockholm and later in the week, going to the Eurovision lives shows in Malmo. I have to be honest. Traveling often makes me a little stressed as it relates to food. It's not that its always so hard to nourish myself on a trip like this. But with my dietary restrictions (plant-based, dairy free etc) I like to do my due diligence and...
Dear Reader, In 2020, my 2 best friends from High School had an intervention with me. I was spending so much time on my business and my creative goals that I completely neglected them in my earnest quest to build and grow my business. I'm not proud of this. I've always prided myself in my ability to maintain long term and strong friendships. But, I also tend to be hyper-focused and even myopic when I'm passionate about something and have a goal I'm focused on. I knew I needed to find more...
Dear Reader, I inadvertently got to see the Boston marathoners on Monday when I attempted to pick up my daughter from a friend's house which happened to be right next to Heartbreak Hill. The roads were blocked off and my daughter couldn't even cross the street to get to my car. She was only 0.1 miles away and yet we could not get to each other! She even asked a police officer if she could scale the fence and dodge the runners in order to get to me! I ended up having to drive 40-minutes, get...
